Children's Privacy Notice

Written for parents, guardians, and young players.

Who needs a parent's approval?

Anyone under 16 who wants a BAGGERS account needs a parent or guardian to approve it first. Players 16 and older can sign up on their own.

What we collect from a child

  • An email address and nickname to create the account.
  • Cornhole training data (drill scores, throws, session times).
  • Basic device info (type, OS, app version) for safety and bug-fixing.

We do not show ads, do not sell data, and do not build behavioural profiles of children. Optional analytics are switched off by default for child accounts.

Restrictions on child accounts

To keep things safe, child accounts cannot:

  • Upload a custom avatar.
  • Receive marketing emails.
  • Buy a paid plan directly, a parent can purchase one.

A child account is private until a parent or guardian approves it. Approving lets the child play like any other member: their nickname and avatar can appear on leaderboards, in player search and on club rosters, other players can see their training results, and the child can share an achievement they have earned. Their email address and date of birth are never shown to anyone. A parent can withdraw that approval at any time, and the child is removed from those places and can no longer share.

Players under 13 get extra protections: no personalised AI coaching content and parent review of any free-text notes.

Parents' rights

At any time, a parent or guardian may:

  • Review the data we hold about the child.
  • Download a copy of that data.
  • Ask us to delete the account.
  • Withdraw consent, we will stop processing further data.

Email privacy@baggers.app to exercise any of these rights.

Keeping consent up to date

When the player turns 13, the strictest restrictions lift automatically. When they turn 16, they become a normal account with all features unlocked. For accounts with extra-strict protections we ask parents to re-confirm consent each year.
